21/8 would be the same as 2 5/8
You can divide 8 from 21 twice, which sums up to 16.
21 - 16 = 5
The two 8's that have been taken away are now equivalent to 1, because 8/8 = 1
1 + 1 = 2
Therefore, the answer is 2 5/8
