Mass of solvent = 100g

Let mass of solute = x

Hence;

20 = x/x +100 ×100/1

20/100= x/x + 100

0.2 = x/x + 100

0.2(x + 100) = x

0.2x + 20 = x

20 = x - 0.2x

20 = 0.8x

x= 20/0.8

x= 25 g
