The chemical reaction would be as follows:

2Ag + S = Ag2S

We are given the amount of silver to be used in the reaction. This will be the starting point for our calculations. We do as follows:

7.20 mol Ag ( 1 mol Ag2S / 2 mol Ag ) = 3.6 mol Ag2S formed
