multiply 2/3 and (3x-6) which is 2x-4. Then, add four to 8 so you will have 2x=12 and divide 12/2 and you will get x=6

first multiply it by 3. that leaves it too:
2 (3x-6)=24
then do the multiplication:
6x-12=24
then we have to get x by itself:
6x= 24+12
6x=36
then isolate x obe final time by dividing bith sides by 6:
6x÷6= 36÷6
x=6
