Well... for starters:

[tex]

\frac{5}{2}=5\times\frac{1}{2} \\

\frac{5}{2}=\frac{5}{1}\times\frac{1}{2}

[/tex]

And the rule is [tex]\frac{a}{b}\times\frac{c}{d}=\frac{a\times c}{b\times d}[/tex]

Therefore:

[tex]\frac{5}{2}=\frac{5\times1}{1\times2}\Longrightarrow\boxed{\frac{5}{2}=\frac{5}{2}}[/tex]
